Our Programmes
Building the Seeds of Peace UK Programme
As an organisation, we’re committed to delivering the Seeds of Peace model in the UK.
Our programme is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: change starts with conversation. Through dialogue, immersive experiences, and practical leadership tools, we help young people explore identity, connection, and difference – safely, honestly, and with curiosity.
It’s not about agreeing with everyone. It’s about building the resilience to sit with discomfort, the skills to have meaningful conversations across divides – political, cultural, ideological – and the confidence to challenge hate and division when they see it.
Grounded in the tools of dialogue and leadership, participants learn to bridge divides in their peer groups, schools, communities, and beyond. This is where real learning happens – where difference becomes a connection, not a barrier.
Mind the Gap – Connecting for Change
In 2025, we launched our UK partnership programme with a three-day pilot workshop in London, delivered in collaboration with Future Leaders UK — an award-winning organisation that empowers underrepresented young people to drive change.
We brought together 25 young people aged 16–18 for an immersive 2 ½ day experience focused on dialogue, leadership, and identity. The impact was immediate. Participants stepped outside their comfort zones, challenged their assumptions, and reflected deeply on themselves, each other, and their place in society.
The pilot proved that our model works – it’s deeply transformative. Participants will continue to receive ongoing support to lead change in their communities and join our global alumni network of Seeds of Peace.
Bringing the Dialogue Academy to the UK – Transforming Differences into Conversations
We’re in the early stages of developing a UK-based Dialogue Academy, building on a model that’s already having an impact in South Asia Seeds of Peace programmes.
At its core, the Dialogue Academy helps young people turn difference into conversation. It gives them the skills and confidence to explore difficult ideas, hold space for different perspectives, and speak with empathy and courage – even when it’s hard.
The Dialogue Academy, which is delivered virtually, is able to reach a broad and expanded group of youth.Through guided reflection, participants build practical tools that are often missing from the classroom – critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and the ability to connect across divides.
It’s a grounded, timely response to a growing need: helping young people make sense of a complex world.
Looking Ahead – UK Regional Camp
This is just the start. Our long-term goal is to create a UK-based 2-3 week residential camp that brings young people together from across the country to connect, share perspectives, and build the skills to lead change in their schools and communities.
Inspired by our programmes in South Asia, the Middle East, and the US, the UK camp will offer a space where young people from different backgrounds can have honest conversations, challenge assumptions, and build lasting relationships.
Participants will learn alongside others with different life experiences, deepening their understanding of themselves and the world around them. The camp will also be a pathway into deeper engagement with Seeds of Peace’s wider network and programmes.
Our hope is to grow a national community of young people, educators, and local leaders who can lead in everyday life and respond thoughtfully in times of division or crisis.
