Abbie Ing
Education
Abbie is an experienced education consultant and writer with a deep-rooted passion for social justice and youth empowerment. With a degree in Primary Education and a background in teaching across both rural and urban schools, Abbie spent five years in the classroom before moving into specialist private tutoring, supporting children excluded from mainstream education due to emotional and behavioural challenges.
Later, as Senior Education Manager at WE Charity, Abbie led the creation of impactful educational programmes for young people across the UK. Over six years in the role, she developed a comprehensive online library of youth-facing resources and CPD content for educators, all designed to inspire and equip the next generation to take action on the issues that matter to them.
Now working independently, Abbie supports charities, businesses, and social enterprises to bring their educational ideas to life—designing content that’s engaging, purposeful and rooted in real-world impact. Her work combines creativity, strategic thinking, and a strong belief in the power of education to drive meaningful change.
Alongside this, Abbie runs a birth education business, supporting women and birthing people to reclaim their autonomy and challenge the status quo in the birth space. Across both areas of her work, the goal remains the same: to help people find their voice, step into their power, and create a more just and equitable world.
